Senior Citizen Classes and Discounts

District 128’s Community Education Program offers a variety of classes each term especially geared for our senior citizens. The times and locations of these classes vary but some are offered in the late afternoon to make it more convenient for our citizens. In addition to these special class offerings, district senior citizens may take many of our classes at a reduced cost. Senior citizens who reside in District 128 and who are 62 years of age or older may qualify for 50% off the stated tuition cost. Not all classes apply so please read the course description carefully.

Senior citizens who qualify for the discount and would like to register online are asked to create a new student profile. Once you have created your profile on the sign-in page, please call our office at (847) 932-2019 and ask for the senior citizen discount. We will verify your status as a District 128 senior citizen. Once you have been verified, you will then be able to register using the senior citizen discount for any class in the future that offers that discount. The verification process only happens the first time you want to use the discount offer.
